Chaman Bahaar: Director Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann sketches the simplicity and notoriety of small towns

The latest movie on Netflix, Chaman Bahaar tells the story of small town people, which the larger celluloid often ignores.

Like larger than life Urban heroes, these small towns have heroes of their own. The story is a blend of hormonal high and an emotional high which is set amidst the chaos of struggle to fulfil one’s parents wishes versus following your own dreams of becoming a successful paan wala.

Well presented by some very realistic performances by Jitender Kumar of kota factory fame playing Billoo the protagonist and very subtle reactions by Rinku ( Ritika Bhadiani) the teen female protagonist. The tale is carried forward with notoriety by the supporting cast packed with humor which never fails to surprise the audience. Dairy milk, guilt, failure, remorse are all part of the climax – go feel it .

Chaman Bahaar is a Ayushman Khurrana , flick of the OTT world.
