On Sunday, November 8th 2020, Krupa Shah’s workshop ‘Learn Abstract Art’ will educate participants all about the genre and will guide a beginner to understand the nuances of abstract art. 

For many people art is an escape, the others view it as a channel to express themselves, while some artists approach it to seek answers and change situations. Have you heard of artists that use their artistic mastery to change the world? Based in Mumbai, Krupa Shah is a virtuoso contemporary artist well-known for her abstract art. Krupa is an art aficionado, philanthropist, entrepreneur and a mentor whose scope of work over the years has pursued her to approach interesting avenues that have only driven her towards her dream of staying relevant. 

Krupa’s art is filled with shades bursting with vibrancy. When observed intently, one sees the colour yellow prominent in most of her paintings as she deeply believes in the positivity of the colour. Evidently, yellow resonates with joy, positivity, clarity and energy and Krupa Shah undoubtedly, emanates the same through her line of work that is not just attributed to art. 

Through her paintings, Krupa Shah has channelled her skills towards social causes and philanthropic work. She’s been an active member of FICCI, All Ladies League and Women Economic Forum and has also headed important panels. For her philanthropic work and contribution towards art, she has received awards like Best Artist Award by Global Business Information, Iconic Leader contributing to a better world by Women Economic Forum, Make In India Award by Bharat Nirman Foundation and much more. 

Krupa is popularly known for raising funds for the Kathua victim, the 8-year-old girl who was raped in 2018. The funds of her painting ‘Tribute to Asifa’ were given to the victim’s family and lawyer in fighting the case. Krupa’s work towards raising awareness about the environment, conducting workshops for visually impaired children and imparting knowledge about a holistic life has made Krupa Shah a resilient woman to reckon with. 

This Sunday, November 8th 2020 at 12 PM, Krupa Shah’s upcoming workshop ‘Learn Abstract Art’ will educate participants all about the genre and will guide a beginner to understand the nuances of abstract art. Through her workshop, one will be able to understand how stress can be negated through various flows and strokes.
